'God is in the details'
Sorry, I could not blog last night because I was in Montgomery without my computer, however here is the update on Steve's surgery. Per my prayer request in the last blog, Steve did have a sense of peace (maybe it was resignation ??) going into the surgery. The surgery went very smoothly and Steve is not in nearly the pain anticipated, he didn't even bruise as much as was expected. God is good and he hears our prayers.
Dr. Parker did everything that he said he'd do plus, he did have to do bone grafts in 2 areas. There was a surprise when Dr. Parker got into the palette... there was a hole on each side of the upper jaw, in the area of 1 of your sinuses, that apparently had been caused by the fall. He said the bone was filling in but it was doing so very slowly.
I am so excited that Steve is progressing so well, keeping his sense of humor and feeling pretty positive about this possibly being the last surgery.
Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice, and be gracious to me and answer me. When You said, "Seek My face, my heart said to You, "Your face O Lord, I shall seek." Ps. 27: 7-8
